DENMARK
COPENHAGEN
Copenhagen rocks, many people here are trendsetter and ahead of our modern times. Many of them also love Berlin, so a lot of bars and clubs in Copenhagen have German names, like "Gefährlich" or "Supergeil". But the Danish Capital is really great, despite the fact that it is actually a quite small city. If it comes to fashion, arts, music or food - the Danish know what their doing and are urbane as New Yorkers or Londoners. Do we have to stress that on top of all this, tall of them are mostly absolutely friendly? Yes, we do - as this is really unique. [...]

BERLIN
A minefield. Cranky. Arrogant. Hail-fellow-well-met. Dirty. Chic. Loud. Crazy. Wanna-be. Slowpoke. Quick. Creative. Old. Young. Geil. Everything. After 15 years I left this incredible city, the BEAST. And now I am always totally happy to be back - and to see Berlin as a tourists, I can only see the best parts. That's so great. My best friend Betty is still here and she always knows, where the hype is. [...]
BERLIN'S FAMOUS CURRYWURST
Sometimes I get homesick. Right now, I have such a feeling. Wistfully I think back to my time in fabulous Berlin and back to the real Berlin Currywurst. That fried pork sausage that is normally chopped into pieces and topped with mostly home made ketchup and curry... and where you are asked whether you want it served with or without its intestine. Of course the one without - this is how it is supposed to be. Those who have never eaten such a Berlin Currywurst may ask: why all the fuss? Well, the Berlin Currywurst is different from a normal German Bratwurst topped with some Curryketchup. A Berlin Currywurst is light-years away from that. [...]
Newest Supperclub in Berlin
In a few days, Berlin can be happy to be home to a brandnew Supperclub "Travels with my fork" Supperclub. The new underground restaurant consists of Mel Lang and Kelsie Mortimer. Since nearly two years they already run a food blog called Travels with my Fork , when they started the blog, they both were living in Glasgow. Later they moved to London, helped to found the London Cooking Club and volunteered at Ms Marmite Lovers Underground Restaurant. Now they live in Berlin, to be precise: in Spandau. On 30th October, finally the doors will open to their own foodie heaven. Just enought time to learn more about them and their club. [...]
GERMANYs MOST BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS MARKETS
Nearly every city in Germany has its own little Christmas market ("Weihnachtsmarkt" in German). But on many of them all you find is blaring music, stinky food for a couple of Euros or boring huts selling the same old rubbish. This is why we went on a quest for the most beautiful, romantic Christmas markets with a real cozy atmosphere. And found some! "Oh come little children!" [...]

ROME
We can surely understand why you want to visit Rome: you want to stroll through the narrow alleys with a guidebook in your hands, you want to get lost, fall in love with old FIAT 500 cars, buy shoes, eyed by flirty cops whose sunglasses are clearly too big for them and who smoke ALL THE TIME, while leaning against their Alfa Romeo cars. You probably also want to do the sightseeing, maybe check out the Dan Brown walking tour, walk near the river Tiber and wonder why the light in this city is so unbelievable beautiful and or course you want to eat really good pasta, right? [...]
VOLTERRA
Volterra is situated in the middle of Tuscany, and thus has credit in the matter of beauty and the culinary art of dining per se. The medieval city with its spectacular and scenically surroundings is considered as one of the most picturesque towns of the region. Volterra is a gem of Italian art and home of the Alabaster. On the narrow alleys you can find elegant renaissance houses as well as simple buildings from the 13th centaury. [...]
PANZANO
Panzano is a small village in the heart of the famous Chianti Classico region in Italy, surrounded by scenic vineyards and olive groves. Many wine farms that are home to the hills of Panzano, belong to the top class of its craft. And there is one tourist attraction that attracts the masses. No church, no shrine, no crying Maria, no wishing well. Reason why crowds are coming to Panzano is Dario Cecchini, aka THE Steakgod and his butchery Antrica Macelleria Cecchini.[...]
CASTLEBRANDO
Once upon a time there was a heavenly castle in the lovely region of Veneto in Italy. In 2004, it was renovated with love, knowledge and care and since then is a beautiful hotel, where you can feel like a princess or a prince. Well not that great musician … Castelbrando is a real gem and as we think worth a special post! [...]
TUSCANYJenke didn’t have the faintest idea ... he only knew that we would fly somewhere for his birthday. Even at the airport he was a good boy, his eyes stuck to the floor, blocking his ears every time an announcements was made. The other passengers were slightly puzzled by watching him - but we didn’t care. After touchdown I could already see the name of the airport in big glowing letters above the terminal building, Jenke kept his eyes to on the floor. Of course I could not stand it at some point and told him in the arrivals area in which city we were and I still think he must have already guessed it. (After all, everyone spoke to us only ONE language - Italian). We had landed in Pisa. [...]
